The DockerCon Review Committee has been working hard to build a bigger and better program that reflects the diversity of the Docker ecosystem and community. From Docker use cases at large and innovative corporations, to advanced technical talks and hands-­on lab tutorials, DockerCon will have sessions adapted to every expertise levels and domain of interests. Each conference day will start with a general session in the morning, followed by breakout tracks.

He has built and led developer communities for 10+ years at Sun, Oracle, and Red Hat. He has deep expertise in leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategy, planning and execution of content, marketing campaigns, and programs. Prior to that he led engineering teams at Sun and is a founding member of the Java EE team. Gupta has authored more than 2,000 blog posts on technology. He has extensive speaking experience in more than 40 countries on myriad topics and is a JavaOne Rock Star for three years in a row. Gupta also founded the Devoxx4Kids chapter in the US and continues to promote technology education among children. An author of several books on technology, an avid runner, a globe trotter, a Java Champion, a JUG leader, NetBeans Dream Team member, and a Docker Captain, he is easily accessible at @arungupta.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor, New York UniversityJustin Cappos is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at New York University. Justin's research philosophy focuses on improving real world systems, often by addressing issues that arise in practical deployments. His dissertation work was on Stork, the first package manager designed for environments that use operating system virtualization, such as cloud computing. Improvements in Stork, particularly relating to security, have been widely adopted and are used on the majority of Linux systems. His research has also been adopted into production use in a variety of other widely used software including git, Python, and Docker. Chief Scientist, TailTargetFabiane is a computer scientist who is passionate about creating software that will positively change the world we live in. She was chief architect of the Sao Paulo Healthcare Information System, considered the largest JavaEE application in the world and winner of the 2005 Duke's Choice Award. She led several communities, including the JavaTools Community at java.net, where 800+ open source projects were born. She is a frequent speaker at conferences in Brazil and abroad, including JavaOne, OSCON, Jfokus, JustJava, QCon and more. She’s also the author of several technical articles and member of the program committee of several conferences as JavaOne, OSCON, TDC and QCon. She was chosen a Java Champion by Sun Microsystems as a recognition of her contribution to the Java ecosystem. Currently, she works as a Chief Scientist at TailTarget where she is helping to shape new disruptive Data Science based services.

As an engineer at Codeship, she works on improving the Docker infrastructure and overall experience for users on Codeship. Previously, she worked on several open source projects to support Docker in the early stages of the project, including Panamax and ImageLayers. She currently lives in Berlin.

Sr. Performance Architect, NetflixBrendan Gregg is a senior performance architect at Netflix, where he does large scale computer performance design, evaluation, analysis, and tuning. He is the author of Systems Performance published by Prentice Hall, and received the USENIX LISA Award for Outstanding Achievement in System Administration. He has previously worked as a performance and kernel engineer, and has created performance analysis tools included in multiple operating systems, as well as visualizations and methodologies.
